In the 1980s, Thermore became one of the first brands to introduce a recycled thermal insulation made from recycled PET bottles marking a long-standing commitment to sustainability driven innovation.

Resource-Efficient Insulation
Thermore launches the NRG insulation, designed to deliver approximately 30% resource savings, reinforcing the company’s dedication to sustainability and efficiency.
2018
Ecodown Fibers Launches
Thermore introduces Ecodown with fibers made from 100% recycled post-consumer PET bottles, bringing a down-like handfeel together with verified sustainability credentials.
2023
Ocean Sets Sail
Thermore launches Ecodown Fibers Ocean, a premium free-fiber insulation made from Ocean Bound Plastics and verified through OceanCycle certification
2026
Ecodown Fibers T2T Launches
Thermore launches Ecodown Fibers T2T made from 80% post-industrial textile waste and 20% post-consumer PET bottles, this ultra-soft insulation is also GRS Certified.
